Mark Your Calendars! You want to keep Saturday October the 5th Open. On this day Network Family Church is hosting the very first ever “Albion’s Great Pumpkin Challenge.” The main event is teams launching pumpkins at targets from 50 to 200 yards away. Teams will build their own launch devices. They can be made out of any type material you want to use. The launch devices cannot be pneumatic, motorized, or use liquid or gas propellants. We are looking for sling shots, catapults, or trebuchets that can launch a pumpkin that weighs at least 8 pounds. The team that is most accurate wins. The competition is open to any organization that puts together a team. This is going to be a fun time with pumpkin themed side activities for families to enjoy while the competition is going on.
